The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed about the higher variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of sassa the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position established for intervention encounters a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
